Where to eat,
stay, and play
in London.

Fall/Winter 2022 Fashion Month just landed across the pond in London. Whether you’ll be in town for the shows or have an upcoming London trip on the horizon, turn to Rebag’s guide for where to eat, stay, and play — and the luxury handbags, watches, and jewelry to bring along.

Where to Stay: The Standard, London

Housed in a Brutalist gem built in 1974, The Standard’s first hotel outside the United States will play host to a number of London Fashion Week events. Situated centrally in King’s Cross, the 266-room hotel is a destination for the creative set, with a number of eateries including Decimo, a Spanish-Mexican fusion restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias. Show that London pride with Burberry mixed in with a dose of that punk spirit.

Where to Eat: Café Cecilia

Dublin-born chef Max Rocha hails from fashion royalty; his father is designer John Rocha, and his sister is designer Simone Rocha. Head to Hackney to try dishes made from seasonal produce like blueberries and goat’s curd on toast, sage and anchovy fritti, and rabbit pasta. The Rocha family’s fashion eye is imbued throughout the restaurant — his father consulted on the interiors while his sister designed the aprons. Wear a palette of pastels and pearls to this stylish restaurant.

What to See: Isamu Noguchi’s A New Nature at
White Cube Bermondsey

In 1970, Isamu Noguchi gave a talk to a group of students at the San Francisco Art Institute to encourage them to create “a new nature” and consider their urban environment and technology around them as organic matter. This exhibition’s title, A New Nature, is from that talk. On view through April 3, it features the late Japanese designer and artist’s works that emphasis his views on nature and material. Add some sculptural accessories to your look with an Alexander McQueen belt or a Dior bracelet.
