The Most Eye-Catching Accessories at Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2023

One of the world’s most highly-anticipated fashion spectacles, Milan Fashion Week never fails to surprise us with brands that showcase exquisitely curated offerings of bags, shoes, and accessories. This season, major Italian houses presented handbag revivals, accessories in different textures and sizes, and statement shoes of all kinds. Scroll down and click through the slideshows to discover the statement-making pieces that caught our attention at Fendi, Gucci, Prada, and more.

Fendi Fall/Winter 2023 by Kim Jones

Kim Jones’ latest collection for Fendi kept it simple and authentic.
With the sophisticated Italian woman in mind, Jones drew inspiration from one in particular: Delfina Delettrez.
On our radar: the Multipocket Baguette in both leather and nylon and a new inclusion
to the Italian label’s roster: the Multi, a versatile bag that easily folds to transform
from day tote to evening bag.

Gucci Fall/Winter 2023

Gucci plays into its strengths this Fall.
Long gone are the days of Tom Ford and, most recently, Alessandro Michele,
and the Italian house might be making a statement with their latest Fall outing: Gucci is Gucci,
no matter who sits (or not) on the Creative Director chair.
On the accessories front, there’s plenty to pick from — from what’s probably the next viral purse,
a 00s revival horse-bit handbag presented in a variety of colors and textures,
to furry ski boots and sandals, to oversized earrings and visor sunglasses.

Prada Fall/Winter 2023 by Raf Simons

Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada’s latest collection for Prada stands as an exploration of uniforms
and as a tribute to the people who wear them. Simple is, in fact, great — at least in their hands.
The label’s quintessential bags were unmissable on the runway, and have already been added to our wishlist.
We also loved their versatile interpretations of simple and comfortable ballerina flats.

Ferragamo Fall/Winter 2023 by Maximilian Davis

Salvatore Ferragamo’s latest Fall collection is tailor-made for those looking to dress handsomely,
regardless of gender. Maximilian Davis exalts the sophistication of the Florentine house through his use of a series of
off-duty looks and carefully-selected period features.
As far as accessories go, we love Ferragamo’s confidence in oversized bags,
mostly in cooler tones like gray, lilac, and electric blue.

Bottega Veneta Fall/Winter 2023 by Matthieu Blazy

Continuing the momentum from the first Blazy-led collection presented one year ago,
the Creative Director’s second Fall/Winter season, according to the show notes, represented “a cacophony of influences.”
This season’s accessories to watch?
New takes on Bottega’s much-loved and characteristic bags, over-the-knee intrecciato boots,
and hype-worthy slipper socks — made from the house’s leather.
