Valentino Garavani thinks outside the box at Paris Fashion Week

Valentino Garavani creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli sent out a neutral Valentino collection with looks incorporating the house’s V logo emblazoned all over the garments and handbags. “Unboxing Valentino” is a tribute to Piccioli’s art of thinking outside the box.

Pierpaolo Piccioli sent out a stunning collection down the runway this season. No more PP Pink, instead, we saw a variety of neutral looks mixed with saturated jewel-toned ensembles. Piccioli emblazoned the house’s V logo all over the garments and handbags. Valentino definitely got the memo that travel is back as they introduced plenty of larger tote bags, perfect for travel.

Since becoming creative director of Valentino Garavani, Piccioli has challenged himself and his team to think outside the box… this season’s “Unboxing Valentino” is a tribute to exactly that. From monochromatic looks to high-shine pieces, Piccioli gave the audience exactly what they wanted. Here are some of our favorite handbags, shoes, and accessories from the Valentino Spring/Summer 2023 Ready-to-Wear show. The finale went out with a bang, with Piccioli leading the models outside to give the crowds outside a chance to view the collection.
